Humbled Kabogo Goes Back To Grassroots In Hunt For Votes After Primaries Loss

Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has been a busy man for the last couple weeks in his bid to hunt for votes as he seeks a second term in office.

Weeks after losing to Waititu popularly known as “Baba Yao” in the Jubilee primaries after he garnered 69,916 votes against Waititu’s 353,604 votes, Mr. Kabogo has been spotted in quite unfamiliar territories in search for those precious extra votes.

This comes after he ditched Jubilee and opted to defend the seat as an independent candidate ahead of the August 8th general elections.

From riding in a public transportation bus to eating in a kibanda, it seems like the flamboyant leader has swallowed the humble pie and is using every means possible to win as many hearts as possible, as the clock ticks.
